Encaustic is an ancient art form utilizing beeswax & heat to create layered, gauzy, beautiful art pieces that last a lifetime. Sealed with resin to a hardened finish, encaustic pieces are durable & can be mounted anywhere indoors, although non-direct sunlight is best. After much learning & practicing, this is my first piece for sale in this art form.
